There's a reason our XFF towers are the most popular crossflow design at Cooling Tower Depot. When you purchase a XFF tower, you not only have the option to choose between splash fills, but you get the added benefit of pultrusion—fiber-reinforced polyester (FRP).

The process of pultrusion is completed by manufacturing the composite material with constant cross-sections, which reinforces fibers as they are pulled through a resin—in this case, polyester. This fiber-reinforced polyester (FRP) results in structure that ensures excellent quality, dependability and safety.

FRP structures are also lightweight, making transportation and construction easier. Plus, they help protect towers against fire and can be used even in the poorest water quality conditions.
